LeadingAge Seeks Feedback on Risk Based Survey

LeadingAge is looking for feedback from members who have participated in the new Risk-Based Survey that is currently being piloted by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). These surveys are being conducted in lieu of the standard recertification survey in a small number of nursing homes in a select group of states across the country.

If your survey was a Risk-Based Survey, you were likely notified by the state and/or CMS surveyors at the start of or during your survey. We are interested in convening a round-table discussion to learn more about this process from the provider perspective.
