PURWOKERTO, NOVEMBER 1, 2024- PT XL Axiata Tbk (XL Axiata) is supporting digitalization at Universitas Jenderal Soedirman (Unsoed) in Purwokerto, Central Java. Through XL Axiata Business Solutions (XLABS), the company is implementing the MyAcademic digital platform, which serves as an integrated academic information system. The launch was officiated by Feby Sallyanto, Chief Enterprise Business Officer of XL Axiata, and The Dean of the Medical Faculty at Unsoed, Dr. dr. M. Mukhlis Rudi Prihatno, M.Kes, M.Si.Med, Sp.An-KNA.
Feby Sallyanto stated, "With this initiative, we aim to support a digital ecosystem in the education sector, providing solutions that support a more efficient and collaborative teaching and learning process. This collaboration follows the MoU signed between XLABS and Unsoed in August 2024, which aimed to enhance connectivity on campus."
According to Feby, the MyAcademic solution is designed to simplify academic processes at the university. The app includes various features to improve the quality and effectiveness of higher education, such as more efficient academic management and a knowledge management system. This digitalization allows for faster, more accurate, and systematic organization, reducing manual errors.
In addition, the application supports interactive learning methods, helping students engage more actively in their studies and enhancing their understanding of the material. The communication features facilitate interactions between lecturers and students, whether for academic discussions or feedback. Moreover, the app provides extensive and integrated access to information, allowing students to view their class schedules, grades, and campus announcements all in one easily accessible platform at any time.
With the introduction of MyAcademic, XLABS aims to support the Medical Faculty at Unsoed in realizing a more connected and modern campus vision. This solution is expected to positively impact the teaching and learning process and significantly enhance overall academic management.
