Reminder: Amended SC LBR 2016-1 effective July 1st

Amended SC LBR 2016-1(b) regarding Chapter 13 attorneys' fees will become effective on July 1, 2024. The amendments are applicable to compensation or retainer agreements, or amendments thereto, entered on or after July 1, 2024, when those agreements govern compensation for a case filed on or after July 1, 2024. Prior applicable rules govern all other compensation or retainer agreements entered and cases filed prior to July 1, 2024. Details regarding these changes were provided in the June 11, 2024 announcement.
