State Police conduct an Underage Drinking Initiative in Onondaga ...

On July 3rd, 2024, the New York State Police conducted an Underage Drinking Initiative in Onondaga and Madison County.

As a result of the initiative, the following locations were checked and found in compliance:

• Mobile, 8010 NY-31, Bridgeport, NY 13030

• Speedway, 8018 NY-31, Bridgeport, NY 13030

• Kinney Drugs, 7998 NY-31, Bridgeport, NY 13039

• Stewarts, 1686 NY-31, Chittenango, NY 13037

• Citgo, 1305 NY-5, Chittenango, NY 13037

• J&J Mini Mart, 991 Fyler Rd, Kirkville, NY 13082

• TOPS Friendly Market, 800 W Genesee St, Chittenango, NY 13037

• Walgreens Pharmacy, 1365 W Genesee St, Chittenango, NY 13037

• Chittenango Discount Liquor & Wine, 1005 Genesee Turnpike, Chittenango, NY 13037

• Kinney Drugs, 540 Genesee Turnpike, Chittenango, NY 13037

• Titletown Liquor, 7846 Oxbow Rd, Canastota, NY 13032

• Main Street Market, 118 South Main St, Canastota, NY 13032

• Aldi, 3348 Seneca Turnpike, Canastota, NY 13032

• Red Apple, 109 N Peterboro St, Canastota, NY 13032

• Fastrac, 3348 Seneca Turnpike, Canastota, NY 13032

• Dollar General, 423 S. Peterboro St, Canastota, NY 13032

• Tops Friendly Market, Rt. 5 &, Oxbow Rd, Canastota, NY 13032

The following locations were found NOT to be in compliance with the laws dealing with the sale of alcohol to persons under the age of 21:

• Chittenango Discount Liquor & Wine, 1005 Genesee Turnpike, Chittenango, NY 13037

As a result, Donald J. Mosack, age 59, from Chittenango, NY was charged with Unlawfully Dealing with a Child 1st degree (PL 260.20) and Prohibitive sale of alcohol to a person under twenty-one years old (ABC 65-1).

During these investigations, businesses are checked utilizing a Trooper in plain clothes and one or several underage operatives who cannot lie about their age or provide a false date of birth.
