Seattle Police arrested two teenagers for back-to-back armed robberies and recovered a stolen vehicle last month.

On June 22nd at 9:38 p.m., patrol officers responded to a robbery at an ATM in the 4100 block of East Madison Street.

Officers determined that two victims were robbed at gunpoint of their belongings and threatened by two male suspects in masks and hoodies.

While investigating, police located the suspects after committing a second armed robbery in the 11400 block of 71st Place South. After a brief foot chase, they were arrested attempting to flee in a stolen vehicle.

The would-be getaway car collided into a police vehicle causing damage. This car was stolen in an armed carjacking earlier in the night by two male suspects in ski masks. The vehicle was impounded to the processing room.

Multiple pieces of evidence were recovered including stolen credit cards, cash, and a realistic looking gun believed to be used during the robberies. The stolen property was documented and returned to the victims.

Both suspects, 13 and 15, were booked into juvenile detention at the Judge Patricia H. Clark Children & Family Justice Center for multiple felony counts of Robbery 1st Degree and Possession of a Stolen Vehicle.

Detectives with the Robbery Unit have taken lead in this case. Additional charges may be applied as detectives complete their investigation.
