DALLAS - The Seagoville High School Community Listening Meeting set for tomorrow, Sept. 24, has been canceled and will be rescheduled. The next meeting will be at 6:30 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 3, at W.W. Samuell High School. Community members are encouraged to attend the meeting of their choice and provide feedback via the online survey.

Elementary school celebrates Milk Week with special guests
To celebrate World School Milk Day on Wednesday, Sept. 25, students at John Quincy Adams Elementary will receive a special surprise from Oak Farms, DairyMax. Students will be greeted by a 1930's dairy truck and a cow mascot, and a nutritionist will visit classrooms to talk about the benefits of dairy. Students will also receive prizes, posters, and a Marvel superhero comic book focused on nutrition.

Hispanic Heritage Month - Conrad teacher uses rhythm to connect with students
As part of Hispanic Heritage Month, Diana López, SPED Unit teacher at Emmett J. Conrad High School, shares how "moving to the rhythm of progress" resonates with her. López explains how using music in the classroom has helped her connect and engage with her students in creative ways.
