Meeting with the Foreign Minister of Turkiye

On September 12, 2024, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov met with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkiye Hakan Fidan in Tashkent. The parties underscored that both Uzbekistan and Turkiye have been implementing fundamental reforms to create the best conditions for their people. It was noted that comprehensive strategic partnership shows a strong upward trend in all areas without exception. The parties discussed practical aspects of further enriching bilateral relations. Economic cooperation, trade turnover increase, people-to-people ties, academic exchanges, international engagements, and many more topics were on the agenda. It was highlighted that Ministries of Foreign Affairs stand at the forefront in implementing a solid package of agreements between the two nations.
