Alexandria, VA - The Association of Public-Safety Communications Officials (APCO) International is seeking comments for candidate American National Standard (ANS) prepared jointly by APCO and the National Emergency Number Association (NENA) titled Standard for the Establishment of a Quality Assurance/Quality Improvement (QA/QI) Program for Emergency Communication Centers (ECCs).

Candidate ANS APCO/NENA Standard for the Establishment of a Quality Assurance / Quality Improvement Program for Emergency Communications Centers (ECCs) will provide a uniform approach to the evaluation of services provided by ECC personnel to ensure the highest level of service is being performed.
