Annual Report 2004

The year 2004 was one of major developments at the European Food Safety Autority (EFSA). The number of staff increased rapidly and now totals more than 100. The move to Parma began in November and is expected to be completed by autumn 2005. Initially, EFSA will be housed in temporary accommodation, but I am confident that a permanent solution will be found soon. The staff members are looking forward to moving to Parma and I am sure that they will have a very positive impact there. EFSA is grateful for the generous assistance kindly provided by the Italian authorities at the local, provincial, regional and national levels.
