Atlanta Fed Announces Vice President in Operations and Administrative Services

For immediate release: November 14, 2024

On November 1, Kristine Branch was appointed to vice president over District Law Enforcement and Business Continuity in the Atlanta Fed's Operations and Administrative Services Division. She previously served as vice president and Jacksonville Branch manager. In her new role, Branch will oversee the Sixth District's Law Enforcement Function Office, Law Enforcement operations, and Business Continuity. She will continue to be based in Jacksonville.

Branch joined the Atlanta Fed in 1988 and has spent her entire Federal Reserve career in the Jacksonville Branch. She was promoted to vice president and Branch manager in 2023, assistant vice president and Jacksonville Branch manager in 2021, and previously served as director in both Cash Services and Facilities and Support Services.

During her 36 years with the Bank, Branch has established a proven track record of successfully leading teams across a variety of business lines and supporting broader District financial services functions. She is recognized as an inclusive leader who creates an open and engaging environment for the teams she leads. Branch completed leadership and supervisory studies at Florida State College at Jacksonville.

The Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta serves the Sixth Federal Reserve District, which encompasses Alabama, Florida, Georgia, and sections of Louisiana, Mississippi, and Tennessee. As part of the nation's central banking system, the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta participates in setting national monetary policy, supervises numerous commercial banks, and provides a variety of financial services to depository institutions and the US government.
