Kirkland Represents Mountain Creek Power on Sale of 808 MW Power Generation Facility to Trafigura and Frontier

Kirkland & Ellis advised Mountain Creek Power, LLC on the sale of the Mountain Creek power plant in Texas to Trafigura Trading LLC and its joint venture partner Frontier Group of Companies for an undisclosed sum. The 808MW steam turbine gas-fired power plant in ERCOT, located close to Dallas, provides a flexible source of electricity during periods of high demand.
