EU Prosperity and Competitiveness: Recommendations for implementing the EU Green Deal in Healthcare

MedTech Europe envisions a future where healthcare systems are environmentally and financially sustainable, equitable and resilient to future crises. In light of the European Commission's announced Sustainable Prosperity and Competitiveness Plan for the new mandate, MedTech Europe has issued 10 recommendations for a patient-centric Green Deal implementation and the building of more sustainable, equitable and climate-resilient healthcare systems in a Europe that is attractive for medical technology innovation.

Europe needs a robust, competitive, and innovation-driven medical technology industry to leverage the #PowerofMedTech for transforming lives and healthcare ecosystems. Climate, health, prosperity and competitiveness are intrinsically linked.
