COSMOTE: One of only three mobile networks worldwide with 'Best in Test' certification for the 10th consecutive year
The COSMOTE mobile network has emerged among the world's leading networks, having received for the 10th consecutive year the "Best in Test" certification from independent benchmarking organization umlaut. This is a performance that only three networks worldwide have achieved for ten consecutive years, while COSMOTE network achieved the best performance in Greece overall and in the individual evaluations of mobile data and voice services. Among the companies with the most distinctions for its mobile network from umlaut is Telekom, of which COSMOTE is a member. The "Best in Test" certification is another proof that COSMOTE is investing intensively in the evolution of its networks, steadily building the future of a connected Greece.

According to umlaut's data, COSMOTE's mobile network achieved the best performance in the last year, scoring 940 out of 1000. Moreover, based on the data, COSMOTE mobile subscribers enjoy among other things, the highest download speeds compared to other mobile networks in major cities, towns and cities, as well as on the country's main roads.
The "Best in Test" certification is the result of a series of independent benchmarking measurements conducted by umlaut between 2 April and 25 April 2024 in 31 large and small cities and major roads across the country and additional crowdsourcing data collected between November 2023 and April 2024 across the country. The measurements were carried out with umlaut's special scientific equipment (drive test tools). During the measurements, tests were carried out on all popular mobile data and voice services, recording the customer-perceived experience in terms of reliability, voice quality, call recovery time, 4G/5G broadband connectivity, upload/download speed, web browsing speed, seamless HD/UHD video viewing and response speed to OTT Voice apps and gaming.
