Cat fans of all ages are invited to submit their original artwork in the Monterey Park Bruggemeyer Library's first-ever Kawaii Kitty Art Contest. From October 1 to October 12, 2024, children, teens and adults can submit artwork reflecting the Japanese word "kawaii" meaning "cute," "adorable" or "loveable."
Beginning October 1, visit the Library to pick up an entry form or submit an entry form online. Prizes will be awarded to the top entries and winning artworks will be displayed in the Library and printed on bookmarks.
