Cedar Falls Recycling Center Closed August 13

The main Cedar Falls recycling center located at 1524 State Street will be closed Tuesday, August 13, for maintenance.

Residents are asked to use the alternate drop-off locations listed below during the closure:

• Faraway Grocery Store - 214 Magnolia Drive, Cedar Falls
• Western Home Communities (located off South Main Street on Hyacinth Drive by red barn)
• 1921 West 18th Street by the Pointe West Apartments
• University of Northern Iowa - Panther Parkway on the UNI campus between 27th and 31st Street
• Greenhill Village - 4507 Algonquin Drive
• Cedar Falls Waste Treatment Plant- 309 East 4th Street
• Orchard Hill- 3900 Orchard Hill Drive

Remote locations are open seven days a week. Residents are asked to place items in their respective containers and not on the ground.
