Plattsburgh male arrested after domestic dispute in town of Peru

On October 26, 2024, State Police members arrested Bradley L. Hathaway, age 41, of Plattsburgh, NY, for criminal mischief 3rd, criminal mischief 4th, criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation, and assault 3rd.

On October 26, 2024, at approximately 3:02 a.m., Troopers responded to Paula Way, in the town of Peru, for a 911 hang-up call. An investigation determined Hathaway and the victim were involved in a verbal argument which turned physical when Hathaway shoved and grabbed the victim's neck causing the victim to have difficulty breathing. Hathaway then broke the victim's phone and iPad while attempting to contact 911. The victim sustained minor injuries to the head and hand from the broken electronics.

Hathaway was arrested, and transported to SP Plattsburgh for processing. He was arraigned in the Town of Peru Court, where he was remanded to Clinton County Jail without bail.
