Mayor Randall Woodfin shares a statement regarding the culture of gun violence in our city

BIRMINGHAM, AL - Mayor Randall L. Woodfin wanted to address the community regarding the recent homicide numbers, the culture of gun violence in the community, and how we can work together, both as city and law enforcement, to address it. In a special video recorded today, Mayor Woodfin has an honest conversation at the Real Time Crime Center surrounded by 145 firearms confiscated by police, representing each of the homicides of 2024.
