Outstanding Homicide Suspect Arrested In Chattanooga

Outstanding homicide suspect, Shakia Davidson, 22, was arrested this afternoon in Chattanooga for the September 8th fatal shooting of Dorothy Stephenson on Green Street.

Davidson was quickly identified as the shooter who fired on Stephenson after an argument over a man who both women were dating.

Stephenson was shot in the head and died at the scene.

A criminal homicide warrant was sworn out for Davidson that night, but detectives were unable to locate her. Chattanooga Police, acting on information from the MNPD, safely took her into custody.

Davidson will be returned to Nashville soon.
