Pottstown, PA- U.S. Renal Care, Inc. ("USRC") announced it has formed a new outpatient joint-venture with Pottstown Memorial Medical Center ("PMMC") in Pottstown, Pennsylvania. USRC now has a controlling interest in the existing PMMC clinic, located at 1600 East High Street. Sergio Vaisman, MD, will serve as Medical Director of the facility.

USRC acquired the center on March 31, 2013. The joint-venture partnership includes USRC, PMCC and local physicians.

USRC's existing dialysis center located at 5 South Sunnybrook Road ("USRC Pottstown") is also part of the newly formed joint-venture. Nasrin Ashouin, MD, is Medical Director at USRC Pottstown and will continue in this role. As of the end of first quarter 2013, USRC owns 10 freestanding outpatient dialysis centers in the state of Pennsylvania.
