Mike Kehoe Doubles Down on His Extreme Anti-Abortion Agenda

Yesterday, as the Missouri Supreme Court ruled that the ballot amendment to restore abortion rights will be on the ballot this November after disingenuous Republican efforts to stop it, Mike Kehoe reaffirmed his opposition to the ballot amendment, calling the popular and grassroots effort "deceptive."

This means Kehoe, who celebrated the overturning of Roe v. Wade, is doubling down on his support for the state's extreme abortion ban with no exceptions for rape or incest. Kehoe feels so strongly about restricting abortion rights, he previously stated he was willing to do "everything I can, sacrificing even my own campaign…" to oppose the amendment.

"This is the latest example of how Mike Kehoe is a dangerous extremist who is willing to do anything and everything to keep the state's extreme abortion ban with no exceptions for rape or incest in place," said DGA States Press Secretary Emma O'Brien.
