This research explores how and why people were changing how they travel due to:
- the effects of the cost of living
- the growth of the digital economy
- lifestyle changes
- views about sustainable travel
The fieldwork was conducted by Ipsos UK on behalf of the Department for Transport during November 2023.
Previous research on our changing travel was published in July 2023.
