The Board of Commissioners presented a certificate of achievement to Isaiah Hubert for being one of the 750 scholars to receive the Gates Scholarship founded by Bill and Melinda Gates.

The Cobb County Board of Commissioners congratulates you on becoming one of just 750 scholars selected from more than 53,000 nationwide applicants for the Gates Scholarship. This prestigious award supports exceptional minority students by covering the full cost of college attendance not met by other
financial aid. As the Youth of the Year winner at the Boys and Girls Club, you delivered speeches to large audiences, exceeding fundraising goals with over 700 people in attendance. Through your excellence, leadership, and hard work, you have truly earned this honor. We look forward to witnessing your future
achievements in the community and the world.
