The UG Invites Public Input During the 2025 Budget Public Hearing

Today, the Unified Government of Wyandotte County and Kansas City, Kansas (UG) will host a public hearing for the 2025 City and County budgets. The public hearing will occur at 6 PM in the Commission Chambers of the Municipal Building (701 N. 7th Street, KCK, KS).

The purpose of this hearing is to seek public comment on budget priorities and initiatives. Individuals and organizations will have up to three minutes to provide their comments and suggestions regarding the 2025 budget to the Unified Government Board of Commissioners.

How do I speak at an upcoming hearing?

There are many ways individuals can participate in tonight's public hearing, by submitting written comments, speaking via Zoom, or speaking in person.

In addition to tonight's public hearing, the UG will host a special meeting on Thursday, August 15, 2024, at 7 PM to adopt the 2025 City and County budgets. This special meeting will be held in the Commission Chambers of the Municipal Building.
