Cooling Center Information

Excessive heat can cause health concerns for some individuals. If you or someone you know is in need of a cool respite, you may visit the Whitten Community Center from 1:00 pm to 6:00 p.m. today through Friday.

During prolonged extreme heat events, hours may be extended at our various facilities to accommodate the emergency.

Please visit the City website for a list of facilities and their hours of operation. Other indoor recreational venues, such as local movie theaters, restaurants, and shopping malls, can also be visited to escape the heat.
