The Iowa State Bar Association provides updates on attorney disciplinary actions from the Iowa Supreme Court to inform members about recent decisions impacting the profession. Most disciplinary cases are resolved through consent agreements and don't reach the Supreme Court, which is why they may not appear in the ISBA's published updates.
In October, the court has ordered two suspensions and one revocation, underscoring the profession's commitment to upholding ethical standards. For a complete record of disciplinary actions in 2024, including those resolved without formal court opinions, visit Iowa Court Commissions.
