BPD Community Alert: Detectives Assigned to District E-18 Seek the Public’s Help to Identify the Following Individual in Relation to Multiple Unarmed Robberies in Several[...]

BPD Community Alert: Detectives assigned to District E-18 (Hyde Park) are seeking the public's assistance to identify the pictured individual involved in four (4) unarmed robberies that occurred in neighborhoods of Hyde Park, Mattapan, Jamaica Plain, and West Roxbury, between June 8th, 2024 and August 4th, 2024.

Since June of 2024, a male suspect (possibly a Hispanic male, 5'6" in height, and 18-20 years old), wore a hooded sweatshirt tightened around his head, followed victims from a bus or train station and robbed them of their gold chains. Victims have been between the ages of 60-70 years old and the chains were forcibly ripped from their necks.

The Boston Police Department is actively reviewing the facts and circumstances surrounding these incidents. Anyone with information is strongly urged to contact District E-18 Detectives at (617) 343-5607.
