Danse Macabre presented by Millermuller Ballet

Description:Millermuller ballet is pleased to present our 12th annual "Danse Macabre" performance. Autumn is here and we welcome the season with a revival of "El Amor Brujo". This eerie tale features the mystic music of Manuel de Falla and takes you to a small village in the mountains of Spain where the magical powers of the bruja are tested by a vengeful ghost bent on possessing her first love. The evening continues with a collection of beloved variations, energetic jazz dance, and elegant classical ballet. Once again, we share the stage with Rockwall Ballet Company and their amazing contemporary and classical ballets. The show closes with "Danse Macabre" and we have the pleasure to announce that Ada Mora will return to dance the lead role that was created for her in the original 2016 showing of this Gothic, symphonic poem by Camille Saint-Saëns and inspired by Henri Cazalis.
