The City of Mount Vernon Awards Over $400K AARPA Funds to 18 Small Businesses Through Mount Vernon

The City of Mount Vernon is proud to announce the awardees of the Mount Vernon First Small Business Grant Program. A total of 18 small businesses will receive over $400,000 in grants to help

address the ongoing challenges brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic. These grants are a key part of the city's initiative to support the recovery of small businesses while fostering new growth

and attracting fresh ventures to Mount Vernon's thriving Downtown Business District. The Mount Vernon First Small Business Grant Program was established to provide financial assistance to small

businesses, helping them stabilize and expand their operations. This program ensures that local businesses, many of which have faced significant hardships in recent years, can continue to thrive
