Missouri Route Z to close at Platte River for Bridge Reconstruction, Oct. 14 - May 2025

PLATTE COUNTY - The Missouri Department of Transportation will be closing Missouri Route Z over Platte River for bridge reconstruction starting approximately Monday, Oct. 14 at 5 a.m. until Thursday, May 29 at 7 p.m. All work is weather permitting.

Follow the suggested state detour:

Westbound Detour:

  • Route B to Route 116 to Route F and back to Route Z

Eastbound Detour:

  • Route F to Route 116 to Route B and back to Route Z

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
