Weekly Lane Closure Advisory for the Interstate 85 @ State Route 42/North Druid Hills Project

WHAT: Weather permitting, Georgia Department of Transportation contractors will close lanes around Interstate 85 at State Route (SR) 42/North Druid Hills Road for construction activities.

WHEN/WHERE: Traffic Impacts on I-85 and SR 42 from October 18, through October 28, 2024
Long-Term Closure:
Starting Monday, October 21, at 8 p.m.

One, left lane on I-85 northbound Frontage Road from SR 42/North Druid Hills Road to Tullie Circle (this lane will be closed for approx. 50 days)
Daytime Closures:
Friday, October 18, to Saturday, October 19, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

One, right lane on I-85 northbound Frontage Road from SR 42/North Druid Hills Road to Cliff Valley Way
Saturday, October 19, from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m.

One, left lane on I-85 northbound at SR 42/North Druid Hills Road

Monday, October 21, to Wednesday, October 23, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.

Motorists traveling on SR 42/North Druid Hills Road to I-85 northbound Frontage Road should use I-85 northbound, Clairmont Road, and I-85 southbound Frontage Road to access I-85 northbound Frontage Road.
