Reports

Threat Analysis for the Water and Wastewater Sector - Coming Soon

WaterISAC's Threat Analysis for the Water and Wastewater Sector provides WaterISAC's assessments and predictions of threats facing the water and wastewater sector in terms of physical security, natural disasters, and cybersecurity. It provides utilities with important information about the current threat environment and support their risk management and prioritization efforts. WaterISAC anticipates publishing the report in late September.

Opportunities

Report Incidents to WaterISAC

Even though WaterISAC wrapped up its latest quarterly incident survey, covering April to June 2024, we still want utilities to report individual incidents and suspicious activities to us as they occur. Regular reporting helps keep WaterISAC informed about the threats confronting the sector, and in turn it provides actionable information to other utilities so they know what to be on the lookout for and how to protect themselves. What's more, reporting incidents can help utilities obtain critical assistance, especially if response and recovery efforts are still underway. WaterISAC accepts incident reports by three methods - emailing [email protected], calling 866-H2O-ISAC, and using the online form (https://www.waterisac.org/report-incident).

WaterISAC maintains the confidentiality of all utilities who report incidents and threats. This policy applies regardless of whether the utility is a member or non-member (so please encourage other utilities that may not be members to report). What's more, as a private organization WaterISAC is not subject to public disclosure laws.
