Nationwide Retirement Solutions partners earn NAGDCA Awards

Five retirement plans that partner with Nationwide Retirement Solutions were recently honored by the National Association of Government Defined Contribution Administrators (NAGDCA) as 2024 NAGDCA Leadership Recognition Awardrecipients for their outstanding participant campaigns.

The Leadership Recognition Award winners were selected from nominations across five categories and judged on originality and measurable results. Nationwide-supported plans captured six of the 17 total awards which will be presented in September at the annual conference in Phoenix, Arizona.

• Maryland Teachers and State Employees Supplemental Retirement Plans (MSRP) was honored in the Plan Design & Administration category for its Catch the MatchCampaign which promoted the State of Maryland's Match bill and resulted in marked increases in enrollments, contributions, and rollovers for State employees.
• New York State Deferred Compensation Plan (NYSDCP) was recognized in the National Retirement Security Month category for its National Retirement Security Campaignthat delivered action-oriented resources for participants and tools that participating state employers could leverage to help their employees rebuild confidence in their finances.
• Ohio Deferred Compensation won in the Participant Education & Communication category for its Enhanced Webinar Education Campaignwhich leveraged new, engaging content to drive a significant surge in workplace meeting participation.
• State of California Savings Plus received two awards. The State's Virtual Adventure Centerwas recognized in the Holistic Financial Wellness category for its 3D virtual benefit fair to provide participants timely education and guidance on a wide breadth of financial and retirement topics. The State's Participants Save Campaignwon in the Participant Education & Communication category for its proactive efforts to provide targeted guidance and resources to help participants get back on track to meet to meet their retirement goals.
• State of Indiana won in the Participant Education & Communication category for itsHoosier START Beneficiary Campaign that was launched to raise awareness about beneficiary designation, educate participants, and guide them on how to update their beneficiary information routinely.
