Holiday Hangouts - Day 6: Light and Water Curtain Shows! Chill out at These Places

Recently, numerous attractions in Beijing have launched captivating light shows as well as water curtain shows. Take a moment to unwind and revel at these attractions during the rest of the National Day holiday.

South Park of Olympic Forest Park

The Olympic Forest Park has recently unveiled a new music fountain. Upon entering through the south gate of South Park, visitors are welcomed by towering water columns, creating a magnificent water curtain that is 125 meters wide and up to 30 meters tall. You can embark on a boat ride during the day, and enjoy a dazzling water curtain show at night, complemented by the brilliant light display at Beijing Olympic Tower.

Time: 9:00, 11:00,14:00, 16:00 and 20:00 on Saturdays and Sundays and during holidays

Shunyi Olympic Rowing-Canoeing Park

The inaugural Light Art and Culture Festival of Shunyi Olympic Rowing-Canoeing Park is currently underway and will run until October 7. The light displays on the water curtain offer a mesmerizing experience. Accompanied by music, stunning images come to life on the water. Visitors are also entertained by various other exciting activities including molten iron art fireworks shows, light shows, and circus performances.

Shijingshan Amusement Park

Shijingshan Amusement Park is hosting the "Happy Autumn Park Party". Until October 7, performances of molten iron art fireworks and water dance will be available every night at 19:00, 20:00, and 21:00. Additionally, a large themed night light show will take place at 20:30 and 21:30 every day throughout the same period.

Cruise Trip on Liangma River

The 6-kilometer international cruise trip on the Liangma River links the business districts of Sanlitun and Solana. This serene route harmoniously blends the waterfront, riverway, green spaces, and the surrounding buildings. The meandering rivers are complemented by 24 unique bridges, creating a picturesque scene. During the National Day holiday, chartered boats are eligible to receive a complimentary dinner treatment.
