CONGRESSMAN BENNIE THOMPSON ANNOUNCES HHS AWARD TO MISSISSIPPI COALITION AGAINST SEXUAL ASSAULT

Bolton, MS- Congressman Bennie Thompson is pleased to announce that the Mississippi Coalition Against Sexual Assault has been awarded a grant by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). The grant is part of the Rape Prevention and Education (RPE) program and amounts to $135,000.
This funding aims to enhance the capacity for sexual assault prevention and education within the community. The Mississippi Coalition Against Sexual Assault will utilize these funds to implement programs and initiatives that focus on reducing the incidence of sexual violence through education, community engagement, and capacity building. |
