A work environment that promotes development, good colleagues, and the ability to balance work with leisure time and personal life - these are aspects that academics associate with Danske Bank according to a
new survey from advisory firm Universum, which asked academics in Denmark where they would most like to work.
In the survey, Danske Bank is the highest-ranking financial company in Denmark. Among individuals working in business who have an academic education, Danske Bank moved up six places to 11th place. And among academics working in tech and IT, Danske Bank climbed nine places to 15th place.
Chief People Officer, Karsten Breum, is pleased by this significant progress.
"As a major Nordic bank, it's of course important that we have a leading ranking among financial companies. It's also positive that we've made such progress among those working in other professional fields because we want to attract employees who have diverse skills and we want to foster an ambitious environment that promotes development."
At Danske Bank, we strive to offer a workplace that provides flexibility, embraces diversity and promotes development among employees, so it is particularly positive that these elements are also highlighted in the survey.
"The survey also shows us that the respondents in general have a more positive view of companies in the financial sector. This suggests that we in the sector have developed in a direction to become a sector in which more people can see themselves working, and I hope this is a development that will continue," says Karsten Breum.
