Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has left for Pakistan on an official visit.
The visit will focus on further expansion of mutually beneficial cooperation with an emphasis on practical steps to develop trade and economic interaction.
In Islamabad, Aleksandr Lukashenko is set to hold talks with Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. The one-on-one meeting will be followed by talks featuring the delegations of the parties. The parties will consider the most promising areas of cooperation and discuss a joint action plan for the future.
Special attention will be paid to regional and global security, interaction in integration associations and joint work on international platforms.
A package of international documents is expected to be signed after the talks.
A Pakistan-Belarus business forum will be held in Islamabad during the visit of the Belarusian head of state.
