State Highway 57 is closed near the intersection with Opiki Road following a crash.

Emergency services were called to the crash involving a motorcycle and a vehicle around 6:25pm.

One person has been seriously injured.

The Serious Crash Unit have bee notified.

Motorists are advised to avoid the area. Diversions are in place.
