Great flexibility and a large radius – Tamás és Zsolt Kft. takes delivery of LTM 1650-8.1

The LTM 1650-8.1 impressed the Hungarian transport and crane service provider Tamás és Zsolt Kft. with its high lifting capacities, Y-guying and compact dimensions whilst achieving a maximum lifting height of 151 metres : "It is not just lifting height and radius that are becoming ever greater for crane jobs, but the concrete elements for bridge or shed constructions are also becoming heavier and longer, meaning that demand for equipment in the class over 400 tonnes is also increasing in Hungary," says company owner Tamás Lovas. "We are also receiving more and more enquiries for repairing wind turbines. We have added our new Liebherr LTM to our fleet to cover these jobs."

Thanks to its fast and variable set-up options, the LTM 1650-8.1 provides Tamás és Zsolt Kft. with the flexibility it requires: "Whether with luffing jib or fixed jib, Y-guying or different ballasting options using VarioBallast® - the crane is not just suitable for a wide range of jobs, but can also travel on public roads with its jib," says Tamás Lovas.

30th anniversary with 20 Liebherr cranes in the company's fleet

From 35-tonne to 450-tonne cranes - Tamás és Zsolt Kft. already has 20 Liebherr cranes in its fleet. The Hungarian company is now expanding its portfolio upwards with the new 8-axle crane to mark its 30th anniversary. "If our customers want a powerful, compact crane, we can offer them an LTM 1400-7.1, for example. If a long boom is required, then our LTM 1450-8.1 is perfect. For special jobs that require great lifting heights and maximum performance, we now have a real trump card - our LTM 1650-8.1," adds Tamás Lovas happily.

Tamás és Zsolt Kft. was founded in 1994 by Istvan Lovas, now has a 75-strong workforce and has been a regular customer of Liebherr for around 25 years. The company relies on Liebherr's expertise, flexibility and service. "We appreciate the fast delivery of spare parts and the fact that used cranes from Liebherr have a very high resale value. Thanks to our good partnership with Liebherr, we can offer our own customers flexibility, reliability and state-of-the-art machines for their jobs at all times," says Tamás Lovas.
