Project Description:

Remove and replace, in-place, approximately 275 ' of bulkhead. Reconstruct 12' return and construct new 25' return. Install a 220' living shoreline beginning at the 25' return and consisting of the installation of 3 rows of coir logs, addition of clean sand and planting of American beach grass and groundsel bush. Project is located at 1025 Flying Point Rd, Town of Southampton, Suffolk County, Water Course: Mecox Bay.

State Historic Preservation Act (SHPA) Determination:

The proposed activity is not subject to review in accordance with SHPA. The application type is exempt and/or the project involves the continuation of an existing operational activity.

Coastal Management:

This project is located in a Coastal Management area and is subject to the Waterfront Revitalization and Coastal Resources Act.

DEC Commissioner Policy 29, Environmental Justice and Permitting (CP-29)

It has been determined that the proposed action is not subject to CP-29.
