Lane and ramp closures scheduled for pavement work on I 435, evening and overnight, Sept. 17 21

JACKSON COUNTY - Crews will make the following lane and ramp closures on NB/SB I-435 for pavement work, evening and overnight, Sept. 17-21.

BEGINS TONIGHT, SEPT. 17 - 7 p.m. until 6 a.m., each evening and overnight, Sept. 17 until Sept. 20 (approximately)

• Crews will close one lane on NB I-435 at Front St.

8 p.m. on Sept. 18 until 5 a.m. on Sept. 19 (approximately)

• Crews will close the ramp from SB I-435 to EB I-70.

7 p.m. until 6 a.m., each evening and overnight, Sept. 19 until Sept. 21 (approximately)

• Crews will close one lane on SB I-435 between Hawthorne Rd. and N. Levee Rd.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway. All work is weather dependent.
