Media advisory: High Representative /Vice-President Borrell travels to Estonia and Latvia

On 19 and 20 July, High Representative/Vice-President Josep Borrell will visit Estonia and Latvia. The visit will be an opportunity to discuss the most pressing key EU foreign policy and defence priorities.

On Friday, High Representative Borrell will meet the caretaker Prime Minister of Estonia, Kaja Kallas. In the afternoon, he will tour the Tapa Army Base together with the Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna and meet with the Minister of Defence Hanno Pevkur.

On Saturday, High Representative Borrell will meet the Latvian Minister of Foreign Affairs Baiba Braže. He will also meet the Minister of Defence Andris Sprūds, with whom he will visit the Ādaži Military Base. He will also meet the Spanish contingent deployed there.
