Lane Closure Notice: Central Avenue

Sept. 29, 2024 - Central Avenue, between 2nd and 3rd Streets, will be closed periodically for the coming weeks as crews perform work on Art House, located at 275 1st Ave. S.

Starting Monday, Sept. 30, work will take place Monday - Thursday from 7 p.m. - 7 a.m. for approximately 8 weeks. This work will require road and sidewalk closures on Central Avenue, between 2nd and 3rd Streets. Efforts have been made to minimize disruption for businesses in the area and during peak weekend times.

Additionally, the following areas will be affected:

• There will be intermittent lane closures on 1st Avenue South. This will not affect any sidewalks, parking, or the bike lane.

• There will be intermittent lane closures on 3rd Street North. This will not affect the sidewalks or parking.

• There will be 2 nights in which Central Avenue will need to be closed. The north sidewalk will remain open.
