The BakerHostetler team of Partners Jonathan Pressment and Christos Papapetrou and Associates Megan Corrigan and Tara Turner received an American Lawyer Litigation Daily's Litigator of the Week Shout-Out for their rare grant of summary judgment on fraud claims from New York's Appellate Department, First Division, for client DIRECTV in their broadcast licensing dispute with Nexstar Media Group. Nexstar failed to disclose the impending loss of affiliation with NBC for one of its stations, leading to an overpayment of retransmission-consent fees by DIRECTV in the amount of $10.5 million.
