If you're considering earning a master's degree to become a school principal or other school leader (which requires a minimum of one year experience as a classroom teacher), register now for "CU Become An Educational Leader," a free, specialized workshop than can be attended in person or virtually. This informative session, presented by Cameron University's Department of Education, takes place on Tuesday, October 24, at 5 p.m. in the Johnson Auditorium, located on the first floor of Ross Hall and also available via Zoom.
"Teachers across Oklahoma are ready to move into administrative roles in the PK-12 school system," says Stacie Garrett, chair of the CU Department of Education. "Earning a Master of Science in Educational Leadership provides a solid foundation for those who aspire to take on a leadership role as they take on new responsibilities or achieve certification as a school principal."
The Master of Science in Educational Leadership degree program at Cameron University is a comprehensive program designed to prepare experienced educators to take on prominent leadership roles in PK-12 school systems. The program will prepare students to be strong educational leaders and increase their capacity to cultivate leadership in others.
