ARPC notes raised official threat level

ARPC (Australian Reinsurance Pool Corporation) notes that the Australian Government has raised the current national terrorism threat level from Possible to Probable.

The national terrorism threat level is a warning tool to provide government and the public an indication of what ASIO is seeing and anticipates in the near future. The security environment will continue to change in response to issues and events that arise both in Australia and overseas.

ARPC administers the Australian Government's terrorism pool, through which insurers can reinsure the risk of claims for eligible terrorism losses with ARPC.
