California Carpetbagger Paul Junge “Unfamiliar with CHIPS Act Bringing $325M to Saginaw County”

The week before Election Day, Paul Junge is once again proving how out-of-touch he is with mid-Michigan.

When asked about a $325 million federal grant for a semiconductor factory in Thomas Township, Junge "was not immediately familiar with " the historic CHIPS and Science Act that delivered the investment - and quickly moved to praising convicted felon Donald Trump, who recently attacked the bipartisan bill.

Led by House Democrats, the CHIPS Act has created more than 50,000 good-paying jobs since 2022, including 180 manufacturing jobs in Saginaw County.

DCCC Spokesperson Aidan Johnson:
"Paul Junge doesn't live or work in Michigan, so it's no surprise he doesn't understand how major economic investments like the CHIPS Act are helping grow the state's economy and support working families. From his anti-abortion extremism to literally not knowing what's going on in mid-Michigan, Junge continues to prove how out-of-touch he is with this district - which is exactly why voters will once again reject him next Tuesday."
