The University of Bedfordshire is set to host an Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) conference, bringing together students, keynote speakers and experts to engage in interactive workshops and discussions.
Open to the public as well as students, staff and ODP professionals, the conference will take place:

Dr Alison Tresidder, Executive Dean of the Faculty of Health & Social Sciences at the University of Bedfordshire, will open the conference before handing over to a range of guest speakers including an address from Mike Donnellon, President of the College of Operating Department Practitioners. Other speakers include:
Inspired by National Operating Department Practitioner Day on 14 May, the theme of this year's conference is 'Inspiration and Awareness' with the aim to raise awareness of the role, its importance and the ever evolving role of ODP's.
Following the keynote speakers, there will be time for a Q&A and discussion section before the conference closes.
Chloe Merlo, Lecturer in Operating Department Practice at Bedfordshire, organised the conference. She said: "This in-person event is a great opportunity to network, learn, and grow in your field.
