Pfc. Beck awarded for capturing suspect with 10 prior convictions

Please join our agency in congratulating Pfc. Peter Beck! Ofc. Beck has been awarded a Certificate of Recognition for September 2024. Pfc. Beck and other officers were dispatched to Wylie Drive in response to a report of a person caught on video breaking into vehicles.

Officer Beck observed an individual matching the suspect's description and attempted to apprehend him. However, the suspect tried to flee, Pfc. Beck quickly caught up with him. Officers later discovered three vehicles the suspect had broken into, and video surveillance confirmed the break-ins.

It is important to note that the suspect has ten prior convictions for vehicle break-ins. Excellent work by Officer Beck!
