Kansas City area maintenance work for Aug. 12-16

LEE'S SUMMIT, MO - The Missouri Department of Transportation will be performing maintenance work throughout the Kansas City region from Aug. 12-16. All work is weather permitting.

CLAY COUNTY

U.S. Highway 69 northbound at Cameron Rd.: left lane closed on Mon., Aug. 12, from approximately 8 a.m. until 4 p.m., for brush cutting.

Route E between Quinn Rd. and end of state maintenance: flagging operation on Wed., Aug. 14, from approximately 8 a.m. until 4 p.m., for pavement repair work.

JACKSON COUNTY

Missouri Highway 291 northbound at 32nd St.: right lane closed on Mon., Aug 12 and Tue., Aug 13, from approximately 8 am until 4 pm daily, for culvert replacement work.

Interstate 70 at various locations: intermittent lane closures on Wed., Aug. 14, from approximately 9 am until 3 pm daily, for pavement repair work.

U.S. Highway 50 at various locations: intermittent lane closures on Thu., Aug 15 and Fri., Aug. 16, from approximately 8 am until 4 pm daily, for pavement repair work.

JOHNSON COUNTY

Route UU in various locations: flagging operation from Mon., Aug. 12 until Thu., Aug. 15, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m., for pavement repair work.

LAFAYETTE COUNTY

Route W between Main St. and Third St. in Alma: flagging operation on Thu., Aug. 15, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m., for drainage work.

Missouri Highway 20 at Missouri Highway 23: flagging operation on Thu., Aug. 15, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m., for signage work.

PETTIS COUNTY

U.S. Highway 65 between Missouri Highway 765 and Saline County line: intermittent lane closures from Mon., Aug. 12 until Thu., Aug. 15, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily for pavement repair work.

RAY COUNTY

Route A between Route E and Caldwell County line: flagging operations at various locations from Mon., Aug. 12 until Tue., Aug. 13, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for pavement repair work and drainage work.

Missouri Highway 10 between the Crooked River Bridge and Route A: flagging operation on Wed., Aug. 14, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m., for drainage work.

SALINE COUNTY

Missouri Highway 240 at various locations: flagging operations from Mon., Aug. 12 until Thu., Aug. 15, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for shoulder repair work.

Missouri Highway 41 at various locations: flagging operations from Mon., Aug. 12 until Thu., Aug. 15, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for shoulder repair work.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
