Westbound SR 78/Northbound I 15 Connectors Closed This Week, 9/22,26

SAN DIEGO - Caltrans Construction crews working on the Interstate (I-15) Pavement Replacement Project in Escondido will close the westbound State Route 78 connector ramp to northbound I-15 Sunday and Thursday from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. for road work.

Motorists may continue westbound on SR-78 and exit at Nordahl Road, turn left to the eastbound SR-78 onramp, continue eastbound on SR-78 to the northbound I-15 connector or from westbound SR-78 take southbound I-15, exit at Ninth Avenue and turn left to northbound I-15.

Motorists are reminded to be Work Zone Alert if traveling in the area and to watch for highway workers and moving construction equipment.

The work schedule is subject to change due to weather conditions, traffic incidents, or other work-related reasons.
